mass breakout

my alma matter is on newspaper
for a reason not pretty

read HERE

it's a common tale
ask anyone who stay in any boarding school
all carries similar if not same kind of story
happen during my stays too
but this is bad

SUPER BAD

200 students in one go?
in broad daylight?
4 days now n school still closed?
like i said...

SUPER BAD

i hope things become better soon
n no more future episodes

medically, more precisely from psychiatric point of view
it is labelled MASS SOCIOGENIC ILLNESS
if i can still remember of Paul Jambu's lecture back in IMU
it starts with heightened emotions leading to reduced inhibition/control with increased susceptibility to leaders sparks crowd effects and voila! u have a group of teenage girls usually in bouts of hysteria

read more on MSI
or just google it up for further details is u r interested

whether all these girls saw wat they claimed to see
i have no idea
perhaps wat happen is a few really did see 'it'
but the others r just simply 'terpengaruh'
wallahu'alam

can i say 'buat-buat' without getting bitchslapped? hehhe

i know 'it' is there, the ethereal part of the universe, had a taste of 'it' even. but for 200 people to actually witness 'it' simultaneously adalah sgt dahsyat.

i think it's the chain reaction thingy. you scream, i scream, that kinda thing? or is it?

yeah, the very 1st batch. when we started, the school wasn't properly finished (& furnished) yet.

there wasn't any playing field, just a big lalang & kemuncup field with xillion of stones and god knows what in it. every afternoon for many months, holding buckets, we lined up and picked all those stoned and construction debris; we literally created those playing fields with our bare hands.

the assembly hall wasn't finished yet; there was no curtain, no acoustic timber lining on the walls, no sound system.

for first many weeks, food at dining hall was always short especially during breakfasts; the staff didn't know how much to cook yet i guess.

there was no bus nor coaster, not for another year and a half.

there was no outlet for our drainage / foul water system. all had to be contained within the school site. hence, we had a few 'kolam seri wangi' around the hostels, and the worst and most disgusting were those for dining hall's waste.

there were water shortages all the time. we had to wake up at 4am in search for water to mandi pagi.

... and many many more hardship. but, we were happy :)
